Generator Types We Install
LPG Generators
LPG-powered standby generators are ideal for properties already using LPG for hot water or cooking. The generator connects to your existing LPG supply – no separate diesel storage. LPG burns cleaner than diesel and doesn’t degrade in storage the way diesel can.
Diesel Generators
Diesel generators are robust and widely used for larger backup power requirements. They require a fuel tank on-site. We can install and connect diesel generators and advise on suitable tank sizing for your usage.
Portable vs Standby
Portable generators provide temporary backup power and are started manually. Standby generators are permanently installed and can start automatically when the grid fails. We install permanent standby units – properly connected, safely positioned and wired through a transfer switch.
Generator Sizing
The right generator size depends on what you want to run during an outage. We calculate your load requirements and recommend a suitable kVA rating – not too small that it can’t cope, not oversized and wasting fuel.
